What to Expect From Your KeraLase™ Appointment at Ava MD
Every treatment at our clinic starts with an assessment of your scalp’s health. Because KeraLase™ is fast, virtually painless, and with little-to-no recovery time, you can get back to your regular daily routine right away. A minimum of three treatments are scheduled one month apart. To enhance the result of the treatments, you should also apply the KeraFactor® Spray at home each day between treatments. For best results, Ava MD recommends that patients come to treatment with clean, dry hair, with no styling products. We will check your scalp prior to treatment to ensure there are no hair products or buildup that might interfere.
Then, the Lutronic LaseMD Ultra will be used on the area of thinning hair, followed immediately by the application of the KeraFactor Peptide Complex (KFP™) serum. Treatment typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete ,depending on the size of the treatment area. Some patients may feel warmth or a slight stinging sensation while the laser is applied to the scalp. However, many of our patients report that it is not uncomfortable and quite bearable.
