How Does Brella™ Work?
Brella™ is a disposable sodium patch that uses patented targeted alkali thermolysis (TAT) technology to reduce excessive underarm sweating. It is placed on the underarm region in-office by an Ava MD provider. When the sodium in the patch comes in contact with the water in sweat (sweat is 99% water), it heats up and targets sweat glands to significantly reduce sweat production.
After just 3 minutes, sweat production in the treatment area will be reduced for an average of 3 months—without needles or downtime!
