Holiday Face Time Treatments

Holidays can be fun. Sometimes. If you’re invited to someone else’s home, can hire a celebrity chef or are married to one. For the rest of us mortals, there’s the hours in the kitchen. Cooking. Baking. Getting cookie batter on your vintage Dior blouse. Serving. And then cleaning it all up. It’s one time when you’d love to have some ‘me’ time, but face it: there’s no time. Or is there?

In between chopping veggies and chipping nails, take a time out to nourish your skin. Homemade skin care is easy and fun to make, and you can do it with ingredients that are right there in your fridge (and, if you cook like me, all over your clothes). Try these recipes for a holiday pick-me-up. I had a great time making them, and tested them all on my own skin.
